Dear Mother:-

Received a couple of letters from you the other day and one from Dad but they were all wrote about the first of Oct so they were pretty old I think they were ever where before them came to me none of you'se had the Spanish flu yet have you. it is a great rage over here people are more than kicking the bucket over here with it. We are having warm weather here now only it is pretty wet. I had an operation on the wound in my thigh about a week ago so I think it will be allright now.

I think I will have to close as I have no news hoping you are all well as it leaves me.
