Bramshot Camp 1918

Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well and getting along fine we have had great weather all along but it is raining this evening.

I saw Roland Harpel the other day he used to work at Lowe's when I was there he came over here in the 24 seige battery and was gassed this spring.

I am all through my training now and on draft and by the time you get this letter I will be in France I guess quite a number of the boys that came over with me are gone about a week ago. Er. Wood is coming in the same draft as I am going in. How often do you get English mail it takes just about a month for a letter to come from home.

How is Charlie getting along in his new home I suppose Clara had a very splashy wedding had she. Well as news is getting scarse I will have to close for this time hoping this letter finds you all well as it leaves me the same.

Write Soon

Good Bye

Allan.
