With reference to the estate of the late soldier above mentioned, I beg to acknowledge receipt of Army Form 64 duly completed, for which I thank you.
Certain articles of personal effects belonging to your son are being despatched to you to-day. Enclosed in the parcel will be an inventory of the effects sent you, and I should be obliged if you will receipt this inventory and return to this Office.
