Hello George,
How's it going at 449? Well I hope. Gee but I've been thro' a lot since I last wrote to you, at times was nearly "all in." The weather has been so very wet for the past 3 weeks that the ground is trampled into mud & the going is very bad indeed, couldn't describe all the things I've seen. I would like to see the end of this War anyway, the sooner the better. It's different soldiering in this sort of weather. Tell Minnie to write soon, & love to the kiddies. Tell them I'll see them soon. Good Luck,
