My Dear Father:

Just a few lines today we have been out all morning. we are having fine weather still. Pretty warm today. How are you all? I have not had a letter for some time. I guess likely there will be some on a day or two now there is a little Canadian [?] in today. I think I told you in my last letter that Charlie Reid was in France but I guess he is not. some of the fellows said they saw him but they make a mistake he is still at Bramshott. there is not very much to write about especially when I have no letter to answer.

I suppose you have no seen Capt Clark yet? Although Sadie would. Is she home yet? Suppose she is. I would sure like to get home for a little while but I guess I will have to wait until next summer at least. I hope when I go home it will be for good. we had an inspection by [?] Borden a few days ago and one by the Corps Commander today it make a lot of work getting ready for these inspections. How are the boys getting along in the Army? I suppose they find it pretty hard at first they will find the food kind of [?] at first but they will soon get used to it

Suppose Vic [?] gets up home quite often. Stan had a letter from Cos. a few days ago he expects to make Canada it will nice for him if he does.

I had a letter from Ken a few days ago and a box from John. which I enjoyed very much.

well I think I will [?] off for this time with Lots of Love to All

Loving Son Don
