My dearest Mother

Thanks very much for your interesting letter received yesterday. I was delighted to have it as I missed yours when you were ill. Don't ever worry to get my parcel off when you are not feeling well for I would sooner wait. Very glad Percy got the weekend and that you had such a good time. I guess the piano wondered what was happening to have so much work; in so short a space of time for it would sure be going all the time he was there. Eh!

I did not know Aunt Fan had been to Norwich. I pity Aunt Lil in those air raids it certainly must be trying for them but she might write to me occasionally, if only to answer mine.

While I think of it I'll wish Percy many happy returns of the coming thirteenth and if he'll put his present address on a card and send it to 458189 D. Section, 9th Can. M.G. Company, B.E.F, France I'll do my best to thank him.

Now I must close hoping all are very well.

I remain
Ever your loving boy

Jack.
