Letter

It takes mail matter a long time to move these days between Canada and Great Britain. The following letter from Lieut. Morgan will be read with interest:

Editor "Speaker:"
While in Hospital I take the opportunity of asking you to thank the donor of Xmas present of a pair of socks which I received about two weeks ago, a somewhat delayed present but much appreciated.
The enclosed perhaps will interest you, the envelope of a letter, which as the postmark shows was mailed at New Liskeard on Sept. 22nd and received by me to-day, five months later.
I have had acute influenza but am being discharged from Hospital tomorrow. Most of the other Canadians are now in France.

Yours Sincerely,
A.N. MORGAN
