Got "Stand to" at 5:00 AM. Had to get out before daylight and stay with Platoon for an hour. Left at 9:30 with 4 N.C.O.'s to look over new Army Line back of Arras. Walked for about 6 miles around Woilly and Dainville. Home at 2 PM. Had good dinner and wrote letters. Went to bed early. Orders to stand to at 5 AM.
