Kentville, N.S.
Dear Leo,
Your last letter I received quite a long while ago and should have answered it long ago somehow I kept putting it off until today.
Well I had a lovely visit from Mama since I wrote last and wasn't I glad to see her, it was also a nice little trip for her and dear knows she needs a rest now and again. There wasn't much for her to see here in Kentville, if I could only have been able to go around with her it would have been much nicer.
In your last letter you were saying you got somewhat busted up from football. I hope you are all right once more and I suppose the football season is about over now so there will be no more danger of broken ribs.
It is very cold here for the past day or so and last night there was some of the fellows skating on the stream just below the hospital here but the sun is pretty strong today and will likely soften it up.
Hockey I suppose will be the next on the program and there will likely be lots of it around town this winter as the old players -- those who are left of them -- will be turning up.
How are Austin and Bill getting along? Bill is certainly going in for business. Isn't he sure some hustler. I had a letter from Rita the other day she says that Jessie is coming home next summer and they will likely be hitched.
Now Leo old boy as I have three or four more letters to write I must make this short. Write when you get a chance.
Your Loving Brother,
Victor
