July 25 - Another hot day. Very few people in town from the country though it is Saturday. Port Hope seems very dull. Nothing doing. Went for a yacht sail in afternoon with the Alaire Smiths and party. Had tea at the "Blue Stone" with the Wellingtons, and Aunt Lizzie who just arrived. Had a lovely time.
