Shornecliffe, England,
September, 10th/16.

Dear Nerta,

Another page for my diary.

When you send me money, please send post office order, or postal notes, because I can get those cashed here without trouble.

Has my pen come from Montreal yet, and been forwarded to me? I have been looking for it, but not here yet.

You will receive a bill from “Optometry,” Kansas City, please remit.

The first time you are sending me anything, please include the smallest can you can get of St. Charles cream. We do not get milk or cream on anything, and we may be able to use this to advantage.

I am keeping remarkably well, and getting more accustomed to my surroundings. Hope you are all well. Will write thro the week.

Lovingly,
Worth. A
