Dear Dad –

Am getting tanned like a Red Skin  Drilling out in the sun most of the day.   We are camped in a pretty place right between the Laurentian Mountains, getting lots of skilly & [?]  Am writing this card down in the [?] behind the targets were marking for some of the other Regiments well I guess I’ll have to close hoping you will write
