Dear Wally :-

I was very glad to hear from you that everything is proceeding satisfactory.  I am pretty good myself.  I met Dick Scofield last night but I couldn’t convey that bit of information to him as he was as drunk as a Lord.  But I wasnt remember.  Another mate of mine and myself just proceeded to the show after we had left him.

I had a letter from G Holden the other day and so I am going to write to him and Gordie Graham tomorrow as I am not out tomorrow anyway.  I hear that Tonto was called up.  Well all I can say to him is good luck because when you get down here it isnt like home.  But I am very happy so he should be.  This is the best outfit in all the world.

I wrote a letter to Bill Brown about two weeks ago and I haven’t received a letter from him as yet.  So I am wondering if it got to him.  I am sending Mother and Dad a lovely cushion cover with the initials RCNVR on it.  I also enclosed a Mothers Day Card for mom.  We have a new roomate who only moved in a couple of days ago.  he doesnt eat much and doesnt take up much room.  he is a very remarkable fellow.  (P.S. Its a mouse)  Well Wally this is all I have to say for now so be good and write soon.

Love
Jack
