Dear Father

I wrote you a few days ago, so this is only going to be a short note. I want to thank you for the excellent parcel which arrived today. Every thing arrived in the best of condition I was just out of tooth powder and I was going to get you to send me another tin of it, but one came so I will be alright for a few weeks now.

I saw Bobby Erickson, and Fred Ward a couple of days ago, also Mr Olsum from the Past.

I have a letter of Doris to answer. Also one from Aunt Frances I will try and get them answers outside of a couple of days.

I had a letter from Johnnie a few days ago, and she was telling me that she had let you know that she had heard from me. My card must have gone astray, as the first moment I gout out I sent one to her and one to you. I managed to get off a few lines to her next day, but didn't manage to write again for some time as we were only "out" a few hours. I got a couple of letters written on the 16th, but couldnt possibly get them posted for five or six days I got a letter off to Mother at the very earliest opportunity

The weather had been very decent for the last few days a most agreeable change from the weather we had during the first couple of weeks or so of the month

Well must close at the present will write again soon. Again many thanks for the parcel

Your Loving Son
George
