Dear Violet:

Just a small letter to thank you for the Christmas boxes. I received three of them and one letter from Grace. Last night I had that family letter mailed the 6th of Nov. Many thanks for the fifteen francs they came in a much needed time. We are having a holiday to-day. Don't know what we will have for dinner though. Have written to Mother & Grace yesterday and have more to write to-day. Did you spend any of your Christmas Holidays in Jordan. I have not heard from Art lately but expect to soon. Hope you are sending me some pictures of the new house. In one of the long coming letters that I got the other day there were those snaps of the bathing in the Harbor on Civic Holiday.
