Dear Folks.

Well how is every thing going down there they are just fine up here so far. I was up to Melfort on my last 48 and had a fair time. You sure can meet a lot of people if you just happen to know one or two like for instance Doris has introduced me to more people than I have met since I joined up. Ever time I go up there I meet three or four more.

I got a pair of hand knitted socks from Mrs. Reilly last night so I guess I will have to write her a letter soon.

Boy money sure burns a whole in my pocket I see an electric razor in one of the jewller shops and sure enough I bys it. It is a Remington Rand 1225 with one head on it. It shaves pretty good too,

There is another trade test coming up here at the end of the month but I don't think there is much hope of me passing it but I am going to try it. It will be for my A and 25 cents more a day.

I am sending a small parcel down there is a locket for Junes birthday which I think is this month and there is a stick pin or broach for your birthday which I find out was last month, but better late then never. They can both stand a little polishing. I started out to make a paper knife out of persplex but it didn't turn out so hot.

Well I guess this is all for now the inspection office just came through and gave us heck about our barracks being dirty.

Well I guess I will close for now

With Love
Bill
