Dear Folks:
Got your letter on Wednesday. Don't understand why you haven't heard as I wrote last Thursday or Friday. Intended to write on Wednesday but we had a Bible class and didn't get in until 10. On Wednesday night we had some athletic work in connection with the class. Moved into new quarters last Wednesday week and am quite comfortable. Will write Sunday and tell you all about our new quarters. We haven't a great deal of free time except on Sundays. Of course we have our evenings off but there is usually something on. We have Bible class one night, basketball one and usually about two bowling matches a week so that the entertainment takes up most of our hours. Our old tent bunch have all stuck together pretty well in the barracks with the exception of Lawson. The NCO's party in a separate room but the rest of us have all stuck together Am feeling fine and in great condition. I weigh 179 pounds that is a gain of 15 pounds since I came in. Not too bad for such a short time.
Don't think I have much news. Don't know when we will be going. Possibly the last of this month or the first of next or perhaps not until February
Must stop now as the it is near time to get back to barracks. Will drop online again Sunday and try to tell you some news.
Lots of love,
Harold
