Dearest Bill:

Gosh I've been busy tonight! You should see the washing I've just done. I felt very energetic when I started but guess how I feel now. That's right - ready for bed.

It's been a marvellous day. I'm glad, because the Hays went to Sturgeon Lake for the weekend. Since W.G. wasn't at work this morning, I left at 11 o'clock, and we don't finish until 1 o'clock on Saturday. Don't you tell him. My girlfriend, Eilleen, (the girl you met the first night you took me out) had an operation last week so I've been spending quite a lot of time with her.

Did I tell you I've been reading books on Psychology? They're very interesting. I've always been quite interested in the subject so I decided to read up on it and I'm glad I did.

They is nothing more to tell you darling. I hope you will forgive this very short letter.

Loads of love

Your Hilda

P.S. Give my regards to everyone.
