Donny,

I've just received your parcel. Thank you. I believe I got everything including the nice soft bum paper. It's too bad we can't get together again this winter to start making preparations for our usual New Year's eve party. I just wonder where all the gang will be that night. If I stay here at least I'll be seeing snow.

The parcels and cigarettes have finally all caught up to me, so I'll be smoking and eating like a crown prince for a while. And I think that those articles were all packed by your dainty little hands. That makes them all the more appreciated. I don't get around the country as much as I used to so that I can stay at camp and start cooking the spaghetti and meat balls any night now.

I hope that Millie and the kids and yourself are in the best of health and you know now that Frank and I are in the best of health.

So long for now,

Tommy
