Dear Sister
Just a few lines to let you know that I am well. Hope this will find you the same. We had a fine time coming across. The weather was fine. There was a pretty gay crowd on the boat. I met Roddie McKay and George Turner coming over. They didnt even know me at all. I wouldnt of known George if he was alone. The weather was fine here until today it is raining and blowing to beat the band. This is a very pretty country around here but I dont like it as well as Vancouver. I wrote more letters sinse I came here then I did in the last six years. We didn't get any leave yet. I will try and go seen Dan when I get my pass. if he is in England yet I wrote to him the other day I ought to get an answer pretty soon. I had an awful time counting the money when I came here first. I am getting onto it better now. There is quiet a few Island boys here from B.C. Well I dont think I have any more news to write just now. So I will close hoping to hear from you soon. Your brother
