My darling

Your welcome but short letter of 29th to hand OK. Well sweetheart we have not been into anything yet, when we do I imagine you'll see all about it in the papers, am of the opinion that the next show the Canadians get into, will be some show.

Yes his "lordship" got the suit alright, but as I think his "lordship" reported that he did not receive the button fasteners.

Am so glad you seem to like Gwernaffield, as you say its a nice peaceful little spot.

As you say the Welsh accent is catching, & no doubt Eric & Gwladys will get it, however I think it sounds rather pretty so we should worry about that. So Eric wants to know when I am coming home well I wish I could answer that question, all leave has been stopped since March but may open up soon.

Have got a rather nice job on hand just now, viz the training of a platoon for special attack practice Competition in the Brigade which comes off next Saturday, I hope we win out, as then we enter the Divisional Competition & if we win out in that the Corps, so here's luck.

How is Frank getting on havn't had his long-looked for letter yet. Fondest love to all my dear ones.

Your loving,

Jim
