Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well hoping you are all the same. We are having great weather over here now. The wagons are going around town now but the is plenty of snow in the country yet we were away out the road the other day for a route march and I guess there is more snow than on P.E.I. and its nothing but hills what we saw anyway was. We got out of quarantine yet and no word of it either. Elliott Jones was taken to the hospital the other day with Measles there is a great dose of them here now but they are very mild.

You people must be very busy you can't write I only had two letters from you since I came here and I think this is the fourth one I wrote so.

It is an awful hole over here the sooner we get out the better.

Well I guess I will close for this time hoping to hear from you soon.

Good Bye

Allan

P.S. You can send along something to eat as soon as you like I think I could manage it now
