May 29/17 Dear Irish, this is where I was yesterday, had a great time, out on a sailboat also had a ride on a bicycle. Just had a letter from our Aunts they are fine. Oh Gee Kid I sure have made a swell new home in discord, that girl I met on Sunday is very nice and her mother is jake, oh I am the candy kid alright going there again on Saturday, Dorothy works in the Liverpool post office as a steno. Eastbourne June 6/ Dear Edith, This is a beautiful place, I couldn't have been sent to a nicer spot all the aristocracy come here for the summer. The hours are 9.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m oh it's great. The weather is great, great bathing & great parks. I am going on a picnic on Tuesday met two great girls, another pal of mine is with me, we sure like this place, I'll tell you more in a letter.
