Nov. 10/15 Just left Winnipeg 7.30 a.m. Dear Kit, Still going across the prairie, soon be in dear old Ontario. Had ½ an hour in Winnipeg. Snow & cold. Everybody happy & having jake time. Heron Lake Ont. Nov 11/15 9.45 a.m. Dear Kit, Still flying across Ontario around Lake Superior, great scenery. Had march at Ft. Williams last night 10 p.m. Saw Australian cadets at Prt. Camp, Good Friday, April 21/16 Dear Mother, just a line. We are going down to Portmouth for the weekend and I won't write until Monday or Tuesday. This is a lovely day, we had church this a.m. We are going down to Haslemers this p.m. to get a square meal and some Hot Cross Buns. Another draft left for France yesterday from our battalion.
