Dear Mamma:-

Arrived here fine. We missed the morning train we have a whole extra day in Montreal (we are all glad & I am going to a big league game this afternoon. We leave at 10 o'clock tonight. Say you should see St. James' church (ours) it is sure swell I was through. I didn't mind the trip. Great scenery saw Bathurst & Campbellford & Quebec

Dear sister :-

Read Leah's postcard & there are my sentiments. Not very hard @ camp. Left there Friday night 20th at 12 oclock & got to Montreal next morning am staying at Russell Hotel. Rooming with 4 other fellows. got bath, sewerage etc. This picture takes you to top of Mount Royal where you can see view on Leah's post card. See it is steep. We have 2 days in Montreal but I will stay...

dear sister:-

I hope you had as good a time coming home as I am having on this trip: you may say what you like about [N. York?] if you can see a better view of ny Than is on this postcard. I'll take your word and do up the [peanuts?] for you. You see this view by going on a car up Ethel's post card. Poor grub in camp but got 1 square meal a day by going to day canteen & paying a quarter.
