Dear Phyllis:

Have just wrote a letter to Dad and now I guess I shall drop you a line. Its time I did anyhow cause I think it must be ages since I wrote you last. I have two Air Mails of yours telling about your trip to the states and I can well imagine how nice it must have been. I think I would like to do some thing like that when I get home but I guess maybe Ill wait till I get home first be fore I start making too many Plans.

Mean while things on this side are proceeding much the same as ever. although starting to day we go to work a half hour later and quit a half hour earlier which cuts the day down to eight hours instead of nine.

Yesterday I had planed to go out to a park a little ways out of the city but I found out that there was a special event in the city called the dance of the giants so I had to stay and see it and get some pictures of it. Well it turned out be one of weirdest things I have yet seen. There were 4 men dressed as Giants and an Orchestra all on a large wagon which was drawn be four horses. They would stop about every three or four hundred yards and do a jig. There were so many people following them that the traffic was completely stopped.

Well so-long for now
Love
Allen.
