Sewell camp 10 July 1915 Dear sister I received your letter some time ago, so I will try and write a few lines to let you know how I am getting on, we are now in Camp since the end off May we had some very cold weather, for a while down here but it has got warmer now, there has been quite a bit of rain out here this summer, there is 8000 men in camp here, so that is quite a lot the most of them have been training all winter, but they are not training us very hard, so I don't think they can be in a very great hurry for men or they would let some of us get out of this we are all waiting here ready to move at any time we don't wear the kilt in the regiment that I am in there are not any kilted regiments in camp there was one in Winnipeg, but they went to the Old Country, I think that is all that I can say this time, as there is not much news here. I remain Your loving brother Alex
