Dear Father:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am getting along fine tell Mother I got the letter she sent to Vince allright also one dated July 8th, so they are coming allright now. I guess she must have been getting the letters now that I wrote when I was at Frensham. Well it has stopped raining here at long last it wasn't before time though for it lasted for about three weeks.

I see Er. Wood & Elliot Jones every day they are both in the same company as I am. I also see Vince every evening as he comes down to see me and all he will talk about is when he used to come up to our place and you would get telling him about Jim Doyle.

Well Scotland is certainly a great place it is very much like Canada and the grain crops up here are great about the best fields of wheat I ever saw it even has P.E.I. beat for growing wheat.

And every field of oats I saw was half lying down the hay was all out and a pretty good second crop growing in lots of places. Well as this is pretty near as long as the letter I got from you today. I will have to close as my news is all run out. I would write to you oftener only I would be putting the same in Mamma's and your letters so I make the one do.

Write Soon.

Good Bye.

Allan
