Dear Mother,-

I received your easter card this morning and appreciated it very much, Well how is your health anyway I hope you are well. We are having quite a lot of rain here at the present time but the weather is pretty nice. I like it here pretty well now but of course I think I would rather be at home now I am going two tell you I want you two wire me $25. when you get this letter & then you can expect me home if I had money enough to pay expenses. Why I would not ask you too send it but I have not got money enough to pay my fare. Well when you write tell me all the news so I guess that is about all for this time with lots of love from your loving son John.

P.S. be sure and wire me the money that is the safest way two send it.
