Got up early expecting to get away by 7:30 but train was an hour late. Very slow travelling. Arrived in Bethune at 4:30. Wired the Bn then went to club. Wrote to Mona all evening, went to bed early.
Lovely day. Warm and light. (Did not appear to be Sunday as all stores and shops were open in Bethune.)
