I intended going up to see Ervin today but could not get a wheel. Vic is up to London today Lucky kid. I wish I had gone with him. it is some place. Bill [?] was down last week. well I suppose the skating is all going you had quite a lot didn't you has John gone up yet? how is old [?]? or have you sold him did Mr. Mc[?] ever say he ahd a card from Spence and I sent [?] and A.R. McDon. but that is all I know about them but don't ask them anything about it. Perhaps they wrote to Spencer. Suppose you hav'nt got a tin Ford yet. you must have had your hands full while Father was suck its funny he was suck this winter just when we were all away. and not much help but you. I said that young that young that [?] for [?] Bro. the other day. he said his sister took his job and was getting a lot more trade than he got. is she still at it? I had a letter from H.B. which I must answer today or this week some time. have they started the day light scheme yet in Can. they started it here today so we lost an hour sleep last night this is awful scribbling I am writing it on my bed blanket for a table

there was a draft of the 246. came to this camp last night I was down to see them this a.m. to see if any of our boys were there but did not see any only two which I knew in the 218th they are all in quarantine for 10 days they have no disease but it is just to keep on the safe side they might brake out with something after coming over. I havn't got last week letter yet expect it tonight but we never know when the mail is coming in here. I sent some of those chocolates to Spencer that you sent he just told me he got them in his last letter they were sure good. well [?] I guess there is nothing more I can think of to scribble will say good day. good day for now.

With Lots of love to all
