Dear family

I am enclosing a note from a friend of mine from the Belgian Underground Army; would you mail it immediately, as is, to his family in the States.

He is quite a well-known bloke in this part of the world, as the Germans had a price of $25,000 on his head, dead or alive. I cant tell you very much more about him but he's a very interesting character. Another one that I met spent 27 days in the hands of the Gestapo being, what they call, questioned. The details arent very pleasant.

This will be short as it has to go by ordinary mail, on account of the enclosure. Ive written quite often via airmail. I must catch the mail, so cheerio, & love to you all
