Dear Mother:-
The exam is all over and Fred & Harry and Nash and I were all made Corporals. I dont know yet wheather I will be able to get out to Jims or not. They dont like to give a pass to go out There for feare They will disert but I can get home for 3 or 4 days before we go away. The Train we go on will not stop at The Bay at all it will go Right Through to Thessalon The whole Battalion is going on one Train.
We are not wearing out stripes yet and I dont know wheather we will draw Cpls. pay from now or not. But we will after we leave here. Biggings was mad Sergeant and Sgt. Eagle went to Toronto tonight To take a special Course. I will be home next week anyway. I guess This is all. I got Frans money for her Today.
