Dear Mom :-

Just a few lines to let you know I am still doing O.K. and that your letters are coming through O.K.  Its kind a hot around here at present but I guess its better than 50 Below Zero.  I here Jake is in London, I wrote him a letter to Boston so I guess he won’t recieve it for quite a while.  I recieve a letter a letter from Aunt Gwen and by the Sound of it She has not recieved mine yet.

There is still nothing to do except go to Shows or play Ball.  I have just finished a game of Ball and it is Sure tiring.  I am going to a Show tonight.

I wish I could have seen Jake before I came down here but I guess it had to happen that way.
