PENSION.

I have the honour, by direction, to advise you that under Order in Council P.C. 3205 of January 2nd, 1919, the following changes were made in the allowances for a pensioner’s children, retroactive to September 1st, 1918.

2. A member of the forces up to he rank of Major (Military), or Lieut.-Commander (Naval) who is in receipt of a total disability pension will be entitled t allowances for his children as follows:
(a) First child $12.00 per month,
(b) Second child $10.00 per month,
(c) Third and subsequent children $8.00 per month

3. When a member of the forces has been pensioned for less than a total disability he will be entitled to allowances for his children graded in accordance with th class of pension awarded.

4. The children of a deceased member of the force will be entitled to allowances as follows:
(a) First child $12.00 per month,
(b) Second child $10.00 per month,
(c) Third and subsequent children $8.00 per month.
(d) First orphan child $24.00 per month.
(e) Second orphan child $20.00 per month.
(f) Third and subsequent orphan children $16.00 per month.

5. Enclosed please find cheque adjusting your account in accordance with the above up to APRIL. 30TH. 1919. Future monthly payments will include the increase thus provided for.
