My Dear Sister

Just a few lines to let you know I am a soldier and to let you know I still have sweet memories of you Well Chrissie I like the life alright as it is a little lazy compared with farm lifes. but I will go back to farming as soon as this scrap is over. Well Dear Sister we that is our Battalion expect to come over the little herring pond before next June, wont that be fine to see you all again. Well Dear Chrissie I wish you an happy Easter and hope you are getting along nicely and like your work and are enjoying the best of health as I am pleased to say I am at present.

Dear Sister how I do wish I could write an interesting letter I have been about 4 hours now writing 5 letters and none of them contain much Well Chrissie I think this is all so with kindest love I will Close
