[delivered to Toronto, Nov 22, 1916]

Dear Sister

Your letter of Oct 23rd just arrived. It went to Chingford then to Eastchurch, on to the Palace, back to Ranvall House at the Admiralty, then finally to Hotel Russel where I am at present in what they call Karki leave - that is, getting an outfit for France. My address will be No. 3 Wing RNAS Admiralty London

I am awfully putout that you are not getting my letters as I have been writing quite regularly.

Do you remember a fellow in the street car coming back from Long Branch at the flying school. He had so much to say for himself [?] you were very interested. I said he came from Halifax, his name was Brennan. I just left him a few minutes ago and he has been wounded and is going back home. I wish I was in his shoes.

I am getting to be a very bad writer I am afraid. You see, I am using your case on my knee. MacDonald wrote me a letter a few days ago & I could not make out one letter. It just looked like a hen scratches.

Will write in a few days again. Have nothing new today but wanted you to get the address as I value your letters so much.

Lots of love

Pete
