Dear Ann

Yours of the 23rd just to hand. You see it is just a month to get a reply. I mailed you a flying pin a month ago. Surely you must have it by this time. It was a read good one & hope it does not get lost. Also one to Jessie. They were both registered so let me know & I will get after the post office. I mailed you a postcard with all the officers that were with me at Crystal Palace. Did you get it?

You will know the good new about the baby girl by this time. I received advice Saturday last but do write Eloise. She seemed quite put out because she had not heard from you for so long. I can't write very much my time is so filled up. I will be confirme that is if all well will try my final exam in two weeks. I have been very lucky so far and am about the only one of my crowd that has not been sent away from the station for 10 weeks extra training & if I can manage to get through the next two weeks will be all set. I passed well up in navigation much to my surprise. I think I told you this before.

I had some pictures taken in the station a few days ago and they should be finished today so will likely enclose them. Roy Davidson have the house at Chip. I am sure he would take good care of it.

Rogers Gibson Gillray other very good pals of mine are killed flying the other day & Mac Murray who played with the Argo's football team is all up. These are all certain flyers. Of all luck the worst is as good as the best. I am trying no stunts & getting in all the flying I can. I figure you can stunt fly if you have to but there is no good amusing some of the town people. I still have my lucky stone from Virginia & wouldn't lose it for anything. Good luck to Skip if he takes the new job & best regards to you all.

Pete
