Dear Mother

Since writing you last night we have received orders to leave for Swift Current this afternoon at 4 P.M. I am unable to acertain anything further at present and as I do not exactly know when I shall be able to write again I thought I would drop you a line before we start. I wrote to Gerald last night. Perhaps It would be a good thing if you would get Father to send me a bundle of franked envelopes. I suppose If it is addressed to Winnipeg and marked forward it will reach all right.
