Dear Muriel

I received your letter yesterday dated from Feb 11 to Feb 17 and was mighty glad to get it but I am going to warn you before I start this is not going to be a long letter as there is really no news to tell.

I wonder if you would do something for me I forgot to ask mother in her letter get David or George to find out from Jack Cobb of the Winnipeg Heating if he ever got my letter I wrote him thank him for the 1000 cigarettes he sent me at Christmas I would certainly like to know if he ever got it.

Say you had better watch yourself driving in Army Cars expecialy driving one it agenst all rules you would probely get into trouble and the fellow that was driving would get hell.

Yes it was just one year ago Feb 13 I left home one year ago Feb 8 I joined up its now just one year one month and seven days since I lift home gosh time sure does fly I sure hope it wont be that long before we are all together again yes a lot as thing have happined since and I guess I sure have changed a lot since then as all us fellows have over here. So you are nearly Twenty years old gosh I thought you were only 18 quite a grown lady.

Well little Sister I really can’t think of any more to say so I hope you will forgive so until next time my sweet

Much love
Mac
