Dear Helen

I received your parcel yesterday and want to thank you very much it sure is swell of you and say those magizines sure come in swell just a time when we had nothing to read.

well things are the same as ever over here lots of rain and mud and not a hell of a lot to do. we have had no bombing for a long time now and I dont think we will as we are very well hidden.

well how is everything at home I hope everyone is well I suppose its getting pretty cold by now and lots of sonow it gets pretty cold here at nights and quite a bit of frost sometimes.

well I really can’t think of any more to say just now thanks again for the parcels so we’ll wish you a merry Christmas and happy new year
