February 7th., 1944.

Mrs. Beulah MacMillan,
13 Victoria St.,
Woodstock, Ontario.

Dear Mrs. MacMillan:

We have learned through the Department of National Defence, Naval Service, that your late husband and our dear friend is now presumed to have been called home as of September 20th., 1943.

We, who had the pleasure of working with Joe when he was in the employ of this Company, feel we would like to place a Mass Card in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ingersoll, and we are also sending flowers to the Central United Church, Woodstock for Sunday, February 13th. We know you will appreciate just how we feel, and this is just done as a little tribute to his memory.

We cannot adequately express our feelings for you in your bereavement and we also feel that it is a grand thing that you have little Jimmy with you as we are sure he will be a great comfort to you.

May we look upon Joe as having been called to his reward, and that he is now in that place which we all hope to reach some time, so that we are all looking forward to the grand reunion for some time in the future.

We also take this opportunity of expressing the hope that if there is anything you feel that we could do at any time in assisting you in your affairs, you will not hesitate to call upon us.

Yours sincerely,
Employees of the Screw Department
MORROW SCREW & NUT COMPANY LIMITED.
