CANADIAN PATRIOTIC FUND, (PORT MOODY BRANCH),
Port Moody B.C.
26th. May, 1917.

Mrs. F. Burnett,
Port Moody.

Dear Mrs. Burnett,

On behalf of the Executive of the Port Moody Branch of the Canadian Patriotic Fund, I beg to convey to you expression of our deep sympathy with you in the loss you have recently sustained.

While, most naturally, the blow is a severe one to you, there must be some satisfaction in knowing that your late husband gave his life for one of the noblest causes for which men ever have fought, the Freedom of the World.

A resolution embodying above was passed at the Meeting of the Executive, on Monday last, and the writer was instructed to convey same to you.

Yours Very Truly,
H.R. Mackenzie
Hon. Secy.
