Sunday Sept. 3rd/16

Dear Nerta,

Just a few lines now as I will try and write a good letter later in the day. I am enclosing diary to date, which you will please put into the book.

Have just returned from Church parade, and will go down town after twelve o.clock and get a real good meal. I cannot get used to camp fare yet, but I will. An aeroplane is buzzing around above us, and sounds like a sawmill.

Lovingly,
Worth.

Have sent several post cards, but as we do not know yet, just what will and will not pass the censors, you may not get them all.
W.D.
