This is to certify that No. 337947 Bdr. (Cadet) G.W. Adams. 2nd Bde. C.F.A. having actively served with his Unit in the Field and rendered good and efficient service, was recommended for a Commission in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, and returned to England for the purpose of attending a Cadet Training School to qualify for a Commission in the Canadian Artillery.
By reason of the cessation of hostilities, before it was possible for this candidate to complete his course of training, his first appointment has been denied him, and this certificate is issued to shew the appreciation of the Overseas Military Forces of Canada, for service rendered in the Field.
