Jan. 22 1919
After a long sojourn in Solesmes during which time we saw the town grow from a war worn & deserted place to a lively little town. We moved to Etaples. Left Solesmes about 1600hrs 22/1/19. Arrived Abbeville about 5.00am

Jan. 23
Left Abbeville at 10.00am and arrived Etaples at 1500 hours. Had stove in car & trip was very comfortable.

March 21
Arrived in Toronto & received discharge same day.

Apr. 10
Started working for Dom. Gov. $85.00 per week.

May 12
Nora & Ernie presented with 8lb. boy - George Stewart. Same day I started at Domex on salary.

May 20
Moved to Tariff Dept.

June 26
Moved to 6th floor Mr. Bethel (E.T.A.)

July 7
Bought Dinghy from A W Durnan, Hanlan's Point for $80.00 - 50-50 with F. C. (Fred Cannon)

Aug 18
Returned to Mr. Plant's Dept.
