Dear Nettie
Your letter of Jan 1st just came to me last night and I must write you a short note today.

Tell Uncle Jay that I am pleased to know that he was elected as a counsellor. I am sure he will get along well if he has a decent crowd to work with.

Yes Nettie I rec'd the box full of good things which you sent me. I was indeed glad to get it and enjoyed everything so much.

I am sure both you and Ralph will be having a splendid time with your snow shoes. We have so little snow over here that I do not think snow shoes are ever used. I will be very glad indeed to get some pictures from you when Aunt Maggie gets her camera working.

I am sure that Andrew (?) and Arthur Grant had a good time at Xmas time. I never hear from Uncle Willie these times at all. I guess perhaps he does not know where to write me.

I am writing this in a big hurry Nettie to get it away today. I am quite well - will write a longer letter next time. I must stop this time.

Your cousin Leslie
