Dear Eric - A day or two ago your letter of the 9th of Nov came to me together with a from Father. They took nearly three months to reach me this time - two weeks longer than usual because we moved from (?).

We are now in Southern Germany and not far from Cobourg. The surrounding country is very rough and mountainous. It reminds me of Quebec north or the Ottawa R.

Father was telling me in his letter about the new place he bought at Kemptville. I remember the place quite well for I had a four hours wait there for a train in 1909. It seemed to be quite a busy little place and it is handy to Ottawa.

Glad to hear that you are going to have some Indoor Exercise. You will like basket-ball I think. Perhaps you can get a good team together and challenge Cornwall. I was glad to hear that you did so well in the athletic events in the Autumn.

Did Jessie get home for a holiday. She said in one of her letters that she expected to go home about Xmas time. You wd all be glad to see both she and Stuart I am sure. I would not mind calling around to see you all myself but I guess It will be some time before I can do that. We can never tell tho how long this show will last.

The snapshot of Victor and Ina's baby came through. The kiddie looks to be quite a cute little thing. Of course all girls are.

Now Eric I must stop. Hope you are doing well in school. Remember the old saying - Eat Well, Sleep Well and Work Well.

Write Soon

Regards to all

Affectionately
