Hello Ann,

This is a strange place to be dropping you a line from as [censored] “Some where in France” and [censored] on my left is pte [Courtier?], who accompanyed me on a sight seeing tour for the afternoon, and though it is my third trip, it is worth seeing

Have spent some day of it as was to a certain little town this morn and invested in some cards which came in very handy for the occasion, Well we are going to beat it, as they are shelling a plane over head and it aint any to comfortable here.

Hoping to hear from you soon and kind remembrances to one and all.

Your loving Bro
