DEATH OF PIONEER JOHN GRANT

The announcement of the death of John Grant at the front will cause sincere regret to his many friends in Ladysmith. The information to hand says he was killed by a bomb. Deceased lived in Ladysmith for number of years, and was highly esteemed by all his acquaintances. He left here with the First Pioneers.
